If you enjoy sewing with knit fabric, you probably have a lot of offcuts and smaller pieces of fabric lying around from previous sewing projects. If so, they're ideal for underwear!

Whitney Knickers for kids was one of the first sewing patterns I created because I needed an underwear pattern that provided more coverage for active kids with changing body shapes. If you like the look of traditional underwear but need good coverage and comfort, this is the pattern for you. Because of the lowered front scoop, this is appropriate for both slim and curvy body shapes.

One Piece - Perfect for non directional print fabric (no gusset option)

Two Piece - Perfect for directional print or panel fabric (open end gusset option)

Hidden Seam Gusset - Perfect for non directional and directional print and kids who prefer enclosed crotch seams

SIZE

This pattern comes in size 1 to 12, catering to children aged 1 to 12 years old. It is recommended you refer to the size chart for best fit.

FABRIC AND NOTION REQUIREMENT

Fabric that has 4 way stretch with  a minimum of 50% stretch and 5% elasticity, suitable for knit fabrics.
